his new addition to Waterdown is made up of just over 46,000 square feet of single-story storage units and includes an 800 square foot office space. With a total of 250 units, this building includes both interior and exterior accessible storage units that are climate-controlled via a glycol in-floor heating system. Waterdown Mini Storage is a pre-engineered steel structure, that was designed, fabricated, and assembled on-site. This process required precise project phasing and scheduling to accept and assemble the multiple modular pre-engineered building components without causing disruption to the production of adjacent critical path prerequisites to accept sequential building systems. While this progression required extra planning, it allowed lead times to be reduced and an expedited project delivery.
