Skyway WWTP Lab & Operations Building

Working around extremely sensitive timelines, a high level of security and a fully operational WWTP, this heavy structural steel building was constructed on slab on grade supported piles. Made up of long span tampered OWSJ, exterior composite aluminum and precast panels, this building is complete with a sandwich panel style Garland Roofing System. This 20,000 SFT building required an HVAC system with four independent interlocked systems to complete the project. WWTP provides full laboratory testing for water throughout the Halton Region, and due to its proximity to Lake Ontario, has an extremely high-water table.
