Career: Site Superintendent

Site superintendents are pivotal to the construction industry and here at DeFaveri. We are always looking for hard-working and dedicated individuals who are willing to serve as the on-site manager for different construction jobs. This individual will act as a liaison between the project manager, client, and construction team.

Your responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing day-to-day operations of a construction project
  • Ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget and following safety regulations
  • Coordination of all sub-contractors, ensuring the accuracy of work in accordance with construction plans
  • Scheduling meetings and completing appropriate fieldwork
  • Consistent communication with Project Manager
  • Managing personnel and resolving potential on-site concerns

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • In-depth Construction Knowledge
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Suite, particularly outlook, word and excel
  • Ability to problem solve and make critical decisions
  • Ability to adapt to unforeseen changes or challenges
  • Cost and Budget control
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and standards
  • Ability to work well with a team and clients
